Costa Dorada

Known as ‘The Golden Coast’, stretching from the south of the Costa Brava to Tarragona, is the Costa Dorada (including the Costa de Garraf), another favourite Spanish holiday destination. This picturesque coast is brimming with outstanding beaches, beautifully manicured towns and intriguing history.

Barcelona’s location is in a great central location and area from where you can travel and visit other major European cities and see their fine art and culture. Barcelona hosted the 1992 Olympic Games promoting a mass of tourism to the beauty of Spain. Now, after the Olympic Games completion, the city is left with an Olympic Village, where other sports and cultural events can now inhabit and familiar fans love it.

Barcelona is a very popular city and is the second largest city in Spain. after Madrid.. Barcelona is located northeastern Spain, in the Mediterranean, and is the world’s busiest seaport sporting a beautiful coastline. It is the capital of the Spanish community of Catalonia, where the famous architect designer, Gaudi. This famous architect designed many famous houses and apartment buildings.

Barcelona’s most famous street is La Rambla, which is the liveliest part of town. The town has cafes, street performers, and artists. In English speaking places, kiosks are booths that have an open window on one side. Some of these kiosk vendors sell small and inexpensive items, such as maps, newspapers, magazines, or lighters to tourists.

If you are planning to travel with your children, the zoo is the most popular place. Everyone loves the zoo. The Barcelona zoo is huge and has thousands of animals and hundreds of different species from all over the world. The zoo is one of the major reasons people visit the city. If you love art, the city has many major galleries. The Picasso Museum is one of the most popular museums in Spain. There is always something going on around town and it is very hard to choose which place to go visit first.
