Camping holiday in Spain required? then look no further than Paramount Places. Just back from 10 days of bliss. From the moment we arrived, Maria and Steve ensured our family( 2 adults and 2 kids- 4ys and 18mths) had a carefree relaxed holiday. They were on hand day and night to provide advice and assistance as required. Provisions were waiting on our arrival which was greatly appreciated as were the regular street BBQs - a great way to meet the neighbours. After such great hospitality it was only right that we took Marias dad Bill for a couple of golf lessons during our stay!!!

As for the campsite, there's loads to do - so much in fact that we didn't leave it for most of our stay. The only downside we found was that the kids club and nightly entertainment didn't start until 16th June so we missed most of that. Saying that, we managed to make our own craic with Maria and Steve and the Mongolians!!! We'll defo be back

Spent two weeks at Paramount Places and had a fabulous time. As there were eight of us (four adults and four children) we booked two mobile homes one behind the other which worked out very well. The mobiles were well laid out and very clean and each had air conditioning and a deck outside which was fantastic. Steve was very helpful, collected us from the airport and organised some essential supplies to be waiting for us at the mobiles as we arrived late in the evening.

Steve, Maria and Bill were very helpful and always on hand with local information and ideas on where to visit and what the good sights were.

Both families thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we will definitely be recommending Paramount Places to our friends.

“A superb location for Barcelona and Surrounding areas”

The location of this park makes it ideal for the Costa Dourada, being midway between Barcelona and Salou you are perfectly located and the roads and transport links are second to none. The park has all the ameneties you will require should you want to stay on it! and 24 hr security.
Paramount places have the best lodges on site (that we saw) complete with decking making the area larger and easier to enjoy. There were 6 of us in one and we coped ok, ideally suited for 4 though - but not an issue really as we were out and about most of the time.
Steve and his family were clearly in the wrong trade for many a year as this is their clear vocation - they were very friendly and more than helpfull - only a fonecall away and ever close to hand.
Should you consider staying on this site then dont look any further than PARAMOUNT PLACES - they have a great location, great accomodation, decking and air con, Steves rep service is above and beyond and best of all - the best prices - value for money at its best. The best option for booking I would say would be direct via PPs website.

“Perfect for families”

The Villa Nova campsite is a perfect place for family holidays with all the amenities you want from a holiday. The Mobile home we booked through paramount Places was lovely and clean and suited all generations of our family from us to my mother and daughter. The decking area outside was ideal for eating our breakfast in the morning and evening meal and was a safe place for my daughter (aged nearly 3) to play. Apartments and hotels do not offer the same freedom and space to cater for the needs of an active child. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday although the great weather helped I cannot find fault with our accomodation whatsoever. We hired a car for the week in order to look around and were all pleasantly surprised by the surrounding area and the ease of access to everything thanks to the motorway!

Had a fantastic holiday. We really really enjoyed it. From when we first landed, when steve was waiting to pick us up and showed us the scencic route to our new holiday home. The mobile was spotless and prefect for our family of five with the four ringed cooker and all self catering facilities, eating al fresco on the decking became the norm. We didn,t hire a car but that did not stop us from seeing all the sites in vila nova and barcelona including la rambles. The public transport is second to none and you will not get cheaper. we went in the low season, which suited our needs [a lovely quiet relaxing,get a tan hoilday].the kids 4,5 and 12, one which had special needs enjoyed the whole eleven days and wished their was more as did we. Steve and Maria were from the on- set our new family away from home. They helped us adapt instantly, by supply us with essentials as we arrived during siesta. we want to thank Maira and Steve for everything and we,ll be back again next year without doubt.

My stay in Paramount Places was very enjoyable. Accomodation and facilities were excellent. My only concern for other's planning to use this site is the unreliability of transport provided by the proprietor to and from the airport.

My experience - I arranged the previous evening that the proprietor would collect me, my son and his friend at 5 o'clock to transport us to the airport for 5.40 check in.

The lift did not arrive until 6.10 pm, thus resulting in me, my son and his friend missing our flights.

As I was out of cost (£360.00) new flights. I approached the proprietor to reimburse these cost. At this point he refused to accept responsibility.

Now your member does not tell the whole story
she does not say I waited for her at the airport to see if she got her flight


The reason for the missed flights was due to traffic jam due to road works on the C31


when she did not
which she was happy about as she did not want to go home any way

if she did way did she not get a flight back the next day

I took her back to the campsite and give her another mobile home for 2 more nights
free of charge

and then when she was going back to the airport I left her back
free of charge

Had a wonderful time, the resort is beautiful and lovely and clean.
The mobile home was also very clean and had everything we needed except perhaps a microwave. Steve was there to pick us up from the airport and also sadly to take us back when it was time to go home. It was my first visit to Spain and I can't wait to go again! Steve even got some essential supplies in for us and then, as we arrived late at night brought us some wine and beers over, very nice, thanks again Steve. Hope to see you next year.

The lovely rooftop swimming pool
We have just returned from a week staying at Villanova Park, nr Barcelona Spain, through Paramount Places. I can honestly say that it is one of the best holidays I have ever had and I would recommend Paramount Places to anyone.

Nine of us went on this holiday to celebrate my 40th birthday (me, hubbie, 3 kids, my Mum, sister and brother in law and daughters boyfriend!) and Steve, owner of Paramount Places, provided us with 3 mobile homes next to each other which was great.

We arrived at Barcelona airport at 10.00pm and everything was so easy. Steve was waiting for us in his mini bus outside the airport, loaded our cases on and off we went! He delivered us straight to our doors and had even kindly got some shopping in for us, as all the shops were shut. He then went off to get us some beer and wine as I hadn't put them on my list! Excellent!

The mobile homes are lovely and clean and the huge decking area is a definite plus. If there is one thing that could be done to improve them (and there is only one!), it would for a microwave to be provided as there is only a hob in each van. However, we hardly ever ate in the mobile home anyway and had quite a few meals in the restaurant which we found to be really nice although a bit overpriced. Service was great though, Meihi being our favourite waiter!!

The grounds to Villanova Park are truly lovely and so well kept. The facilities are brilliant, with lots going on, even during low season when we went. There is a bus that stops directly outside the park which takes you into Villanova which is a lovely town with a gorgeous beach. From there you can get a train into Barcelona which was fantastic, a real experience.

All in all I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Paramount Places to anyone and we will hopefully be going there again next year, as there is so much to see and do and a week just isn't enough.

this is the first time we have done a camping holiday and we got exactly what it said on the website. the campsite is lovely and clean and the people are lovely and friendly. (steve owner of paramount was great crack)i couldnt fault any part of it. the decking outside each caravan is great we ate meals outside i especially liked being able to put the kids to bed and sitting on the decking having time as a couple knowing your kids are safe . my kids are 3, 11, and 14 there is as much or as little as you want to do for all ages we mostly went to the rooftop pool whch is never to busy even in high season cus there is a few to choose from other days we went on bus to the beach the kids loved it . we were there for 2 weeks and we hired a car for 3 days to go to salou (which is busy and commercial but great for shopping) and to go to portuventura we got there about 1 oclock and the park closed at 8 so we missed a few rides so go early.
this is the first holiday i have been on that i havent missed my own home, we enjoyed it so much we booked for next year befor e we left. i would say to anyone if you looking for a relaxing family holiday try this place. i dont belive anyone would be dissapointed . thanks steve for a great holiday..

Excellent holiday! Compact with all necessities and hopefully the addition of Sky TV in all the vans 2008! Great campsite with all amenities to suit all ages. Great supermarket and takeaway with cooked chicken & pizza. Restaurant not great but ok for poolside snack. Trip to Aqualeon a must - 100 euros for transport to and from site and entrance into the park for full day for 2 adults & 2 kids. A bus stops outside campsite every 20 minutes, 1 euro, going to Villanova town where there are numerous restaurants (would recommend Beverly Hills Restaurant) and a fabulous beach. Weekly market and Stiges town closeby with excellent rail service from Villanova. We recommend this holiday for families with children of all ages and especially staying at Paramount Places as the hosts Steve & Maria not only make this a stress free holiday from collection at the airport but also great craic with bbq night where all guests have opportunity to socialise and enjoy great food.



Camping Vilanova Park: "Great campsite...

I'd thoroughly recommend you stay with Steve at Paramount Places on the campsite. This guy really is a 'Mr. Fixit' and will be available to you whenever you have a query/problem. His mobiles are excellent and have that invaluable item for a holiday in the sun i.e. Air Conditioning. The large decking area at each mobile is also fantastic and something most other mobiles do not have on site. Steve wants his customers to have the best holiday ever and he certainly succeeded in our case. This guy met us at the airport and brought us back again at the end of the holiday. He also managed to take us on a couple of trips (Sitges and Salou) during our stay.

... The restaurant prices which were a bit over the top compared to restaurants in town. Avoid the buffet at all costs, 15Euro for a luke-warm limited choice menu. One person complained about the cold chips and was met with a shrug of the shoulders from the staff. The take-away pizzas are 10 Euro each and definitely not worth the money.
Do not expect staff at reception to go out of their way to help you out either if you do not speak Spanish. I tried to get one of them to order me a taxi and she said she wasn't permitted to do so even after I offered her the money for the phone call
(have you ever tried ringing a Spanish taxi firm without having any Spanish……lol)

As for the rest of the campsite, I found it well maintained and clean, especially the shower/toilet blocks. The pools were great and the daily activities/entertainment provided was first class. The guy who hires bicycles was hard to pin down as he is not on site but Steve at Paramount Places sorted it out with a quick phone call.

Vilanova town itself is beautiful, from the seafront restaurants/bars to the fantastic shopping. Locals are extremely friendly especially if you at least try to communicate in Spanish. The odd 'Hola' and 'Gracias' goes a long way.

I have been to several Keycamp sites in France and Spain before but I would have to say the welcome and attentiveness shown to us by Steve and his family outshone any of these others. Looking forward to booking with Paramount Places again in the near future.

We stayed at Camping Vilanova in 2004. It is a fantastic park and location and so we were keen to go back. Last time we booked directly with the site and got a mobile home that was on its last legs. This time we booked with Paramount Places and got a nice, new, clean mobile home. Steve knows what customer service means and really looks after his guests. I strongly recommend the park and strongly recommend booking with Paramount Places. We will be going back.

Just returned from a great holiday with paramount places. The mobile homes are immaculate and a fair size, comfortably sleeping four people. They are equipped with everything you need even egg cups! The accommodation is on a massive campsite with two big swimming pools, bar, restaurant, games pitches, zoo, park, and a well stocked shop. If you do not want to cook, we would recommend going into Vilanova town to eat, as the food in the onsite restaurant, buffet, and takeaway is poor and overpriced. A bus comes to the park every 20 minutes and will take you into Vilanova town. It has huge beach, shops, and loads of places to eat. The bus also goes to the train station and from there you can get direct trains to Salou, Barcelona, Sitges, Port Aventura, and other places. The water/safari park Aqualeon is also worth a visit. Fiancée, our two 12-year-old boys, and I had a great 10 days and were never bored. What made the holiday for us were the owner Steve and his family. They went out of their way to ensure we had a great time and showed us the best places to go and even took us there, thanks. We hope to book again for next year.

Finding a holiday to please 4 boys aged between 16 and 4 is never easy but this year thanks to Paramount Places at Vilanova Park we managed just that. We chose this campsite because of its excellent train links to Barcelona and other towns along the Costa Dorada and were not disappointed. What surpassed our expectations however were the campsite itself and the quality of accommodation offered by Paramount Places. The Campsite has absolutely everything needed for your holiday, fantastic pool complexes (2 separate pool areas), sports pitches, bar, restaurant, entertainment, supermarket etc. It is a beautifully landscaped site with a lovely atmosphere and mix of nationalities.
Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and in a lovely location within the park with a beautiful decking area. However, it was the service provided by Steve, Maria and the rest of their family, which sets Paramount Places apart. On arrival, we got such a warm welcome with Marias father Bill even bringing us up to the shop to get groceries before it closed for lunch. Throughout our holidays they were always on hand whenever we needed information/advice without ever being intrusive, and created a lovely community feeling on the site. On our last night, Steve brought anyone interested into Salou for a wander around the shops and a bite to eat bringing a perfect end to a perfect holiday.
Having looked at all the other accommodation on site during our stay I am in no doubt that Paramount Places offers that something extra to its customers, a personal interest in making your holiday the best possible for you.

Our family stayed at Paramount Places at the end of May and could not have asked for a better holiday. It was extremely good value for money and very welcoming. Steve and Maria were exceptional hosts, full of knowledge of the area and willing to help you as much as they could. It was a great family setting - quiet, lovely families in the other caravans and a safe environment for kids to explore. The pools were great too and clean - lifeguards there at all times and the beach was beautiful with great amenities. The weather was fantastic too - thanks for a great time - hope to come back next year perhaps with a hire car next time to explore the rest of the coast. Thanks Steve and Maria

we had a great time in May with our grandson Connor with paramount places .Steve was at the airport waiting for us .when we arrived at our mobile home he made sure everything was ok and put our minds at rest. Steve and his family really made us feel at home and joined just how a campsite should be. The pools are great and Connor loved the zoo. The only thing I would say about the mobile home is that the shower room and toilet could do with a blind on the windows (sorry Steve). We would definitely go back perhaps a little later in the season to get a taste of the entertainment.

I have stayed at Paramount Places twice now, the first time in April 06 and more recently in Feb 07. I really cannot begin to explain how relaxing a holiday I had on each visit. All your worries and cares are left behind when Steve or Maria lift you from the airport. On both visits, I was with my partner and two children. On arrival you immediately realize you are in for a treat when you see the standard of static caravan you are about to stay in. (The personal touch is way beyond that of a tour operators) On opening the door you find the essentials for relaxing after your journey already waiting for you tea, coffee and milk etc. The biggest difference between my two visits was the addition of the decking areas to the caravans, a real touch of class, and a great area to really enjoy the atmosphere of the campsite and your fellow guests. Another A+ on my personal list is that the caravans are air conditioned, should you need a break from the glorious sunshine. On the campsite, there are two outdoor swimming pools, which are immaculately maintained as are the areas surrounding the pools. There is also an indoor pool and several other sporting facilities available for children and adults alike on site, there is a zoo. Steve and Maria are always available should you require any assistance or help with anything. On an evening there is on site entertainment, which is without doubt worth a visit. There is also a shop providing anything you need and restaurant serving good food at very reasonable prices if fancy a night off from cooking for yourself. I could say much more however in my opinion the best way to enjoy this holiday is to book up and try it for yourself. I have recommended Paramount Places to several friends and they have come home like me singing the praises of Paramount Places. Thank you Steve and Maria for a couple of great holidays, I will be back.

I recently stayed in paramount places and have to say I had a brilliant time too. Last year I was in Villanova Park as well but stayed with a different company but I have to say Paramount Places had a much better standard. The mobiles are brand new and have everything you need. They even had sky TV so it was great at night to sit out on the decking sipping whatever your poison is while the kids watched their TV programmes. Steve and Maria were great in addition, they made sure everything was ok for me and told me useful stuff about the area, how to get to the beach, where the best shoe shops were! I would definitely recommend this sort of holiday to anyone whether it is a relaxing week for two or with kids. It is all enclosed you do not have to worry so much about their safety, it is definitely safe. The campsite has everything you would need and if not there is brilliant shopping in town and the beach is lovely so top marks from me what else can I say. GO!

Went camping in Vilanova near Barcelona with my family (group of women and children from 2years to 68 years) over Easter 2007 for a week and stayed in Paramount Places Mobile homes , what a fab place, the caravans were fantastic, clean and bright with every thing you need for self catering. The facilities on site were great and the shop not over priced. The swimming pools were beautiful and surrounded by lush greenery. The weather was not very good but with Steve on hand we were able to visit the local towns Vilanova Town and Sitges, him having that mini bus is fantastic as we were all able to stay together as a group, and not have to worry about splitting up to get Taxis. Steve was a great host and nothing was too much trouble, from picking you up at the airport and dropping you back again. I would definitely recommend this camping park and Steve caravans as they have beautiful decking outside with patio sets, sunbeds, and even a BBQ. I hope to return again.

“Most relaxing holiday experience ever”

My family & I have recently returned from the most relaxing holiday experience ever! This type of camping holiday in Barcelona Spain It was a first for us and I cannot put in words how much my wife and four sons enjoyed it. Steve and his family are welcoming hosts who leave you to get on with doing your own thing, but always there if required. No “in your face holiday reps” trying to palm you off with endless expensive day trips! The park itself is family friendly and most importantly, child safe with a host of activities to participate in (That is if you can shake off the laid back, relaxed attitude that envelopes you once arriving!) The two outdoor swimming pools were top drawer with the option of an indoor pool also. The evening entertainment is well worth turning up for and the on site supermarket is unbelievably cheap for food and beer. A trip to Porta Ventura is a must, while local towns Vilanova and Sitges are worth a visit. I have recommended Paramount Places to quite a number of people since I have returned and they are showing genuine interest. Already looking forward to another visit.

“Clean and Comfortable”

My family is just back from our first camping holiday at Vilanova Camping Park where we stayed with Paramount Places in a clean and comfortable mobile home for 10 days. From the moment our host Steve collected us from Barcelona Airport and dropped us at our destination a half hour later (he also stopped at the camp shop so we could get bread and milk before the shop closed) we were stress free. Vilanova Park has 2 large outdoor pools and a fab indoor leisure centre as well as football pitches, table tennis, games room and the nightly shows were very enjoyable (especially Roger's Cuban Show). We also took the day trip to Barcelona from the Camp Site and this was excellent which included a trip to the Olympic Village and Noucamp Stadium much to the delight of our 10 and 14yr sons. A trip to Port Aventura is an absolute must. We missed the train and a taxi cost us 60 Euro, which was not too bad for a 40-minute journey. Overall, we would highly recommend this Campsite and Paramount Places Mobile Home. Steve and Maria were the perfect hosts and thanks again for the invite to the B B Que. The food was great. See you again next year and looking forward to seeing all the decking.

"Brilliant holiday"------------------------------May 2006

Having Steve so close to hand, made a lot of difference. On arrival, he made us coffee, which was very welcome. If we asked for anything, he was very obliging. Soon after arriving, I needed to see a doctor, so he took me to the hospital, and was great. The accommodation was clean, and the caravans not too close together, giving a great space to 'chill out' in, without feeling crowded. The site was great. We had two boys, of 8, with us, and they were just so happy with the pools and the site in general. There was no need to venture out of the site. The pools were lovely, with the lifeguards keeping a close eye on things, and not tolerating any behavior that they considered the slightest bit antisocial. Would definitely book with Steve, again, and hope to do so, next year. Have recommended Vilanova Park to many people, and my sister even went a month after we did, and was thrilled with the place.

“YOU DONT WANT TO MISS THIS HOLIDAY DESTINATION!” ------------- MAY 2006
Fabulous, sunshine, friendly, fun, clean, safe, secure, beautiful, quiet, lively, family friendly, first class amenities, friendly local and international interaction + personal service, well located, airport transfer, air conditioning, shopping, markets etc, etc, etc................ I could go on and on about the fantastic holiday my family (3 Generations!) had at Paramount Places Villanova. We flew Ryan Air from Dublin (2hrs20mins), where met by three separate drivers, all pre-arranged at the time of booking, taken to a Palm-tree covered complex, and delivered right to the door of our three brand new mobile homes!
Inside the vans apart from the air conditioning and the cleanliness we found the all important tea, coffee, bread, milk, water and even ham and cheese! Simple but extremely appreciated! (Just one of the many personal touches provided by owner/manager Steve Martin.) Nothing was too much trouble. He was always at hand day or night if required and he cooks a mean barbeque, as past guests will know!
On site, the amenities are first class. Wash rooms, shower rooms, laundry rooms. There are also good disabled facilities throughout. There is also a zoo, a football pitch (under construction), table tennis, bowling area and Kiddies Park! The pool areas are breathtaking, no cold hard tiles surrounding these pools, just smooth wood, and lots of grass and palm trees for shelter from the lovely warm sun! I thought this was fabulous as with two young children (5 and 4), slippy tiles are so treacherous, and you do not need that type of stress on your holiday! There are also two life guards on patrol throughout the day - what more could you ask for? The dining and drinks area overlooks the pool and its here that the outside disco's etc takes place under more Palm trees and stars! They have a varied and reasonably priced menu, good beer, and wine selection not to mention tasty treats galore for those with a sweet tooth! The bar / restaurant staff are really friendly and accommodating also. Lots happen both day and night, from bus excursions to Villanova itself or further to Barcelona, Salou etc. There are also shows, games, and competitions at night! If you do not like the sun but still want to swim, you can use the state of the art Gym complex with an indoor pool etc. Accommodation is varied but all of the highest standard.
All in all, I (and my family) had a FANTASTIC holiday at Paramount Places and I cannot recommended it highly enough to anyone looking for a well priced, relaxing, family oriented (or indeed romantic break -type!) holiday. If you have or have not considered "mobile" holidays before, go to Paramount Places and experience a completely new type of holiday - and tell Steve I sent you!

"Great Holiday"----------------April 2006

Just a quick note to say that we had a great holiday at Villanova this April 2006. Your personal attention to detail was much welcomed and made the experience even more relaxing for the whole family. The accommodation was very comfortable and well located in a secluded area of the Park. The children loved the mini zoo and the onsite shop and restaurant got a good turn out of us, (tell Maria that the Banderos Red was very enjoyable!). The new indoor leisure and fitness suite is quite simply superb, and the child friendly safe aspects of the whole Park completed the chilling out process. Once again, thanks for a great time, (which we are still talking about). Speak to you soon.

‘’Nothing too much trouble........never received such personal effort before “

On our arrival at Vilanova Park sites we were met by Steve and Denise who introduced us to brand new Static mobile homes which were very clean and tidy at the time of our leaving 4 of the vans had air conditioning which was 1st class. (Especially when the temperature hits the late 80s). We have visited a various numbers of campsites in the last 14 years with companies like Euro sites, Euro camp, French life, Sunsites and even Haven they were great BUT the one thing which we have never experienced with these companies was the personal input from Steve, Maria, & Denise towards making our holiday .NOTHING was to much trouble and they were all only to happy to help, from a trip to Salou which if you are fortunate to encounter when Steve is there some evening having a meal at possibly the best Steak house you may also be fortunate enough to encounter one of the curries there which is to die for. The site was very impressive with every age group catered for as the amenities were brilliant from the dancing classes for the children, the season long planned sporting events for the teenagers to the cabaret for all the family. The site is a very clean and tidy large site with beautiful swimming pools, small zoo, on site shops, cycle hire, 18 hole golf course, with club hire less than 5 mins away the sight has excellent security it has a no nonsense approach to anti social persons who would attempt to spoil other peoples holiday.
The local bus service into the town is 1st class with a great return service for you into the town to shop or to the nice clean beach; the pick up service is great with a trip on the bus by return costing all of 80 cents. The mid week market and Sunday market is within walking distance and is well worth a visit. Vilanova is between Barcelona and Salou and they are both less than an hour way by Car or train, both these areas are without a doubt well worth a visit. Overall, Paramount places made our holiday very enjoyable for all of our family and come highly recommended to any prospective holidaymakers.

"What a fabulous holiday"
Since we have came home we have recommended Paramount places to anyone and everyone that wants to listen. The caravans were 1st class quality and Steve could not have been more accommodating and helpful. He was very friendly and got on very well with our children. The Vilanova Park has everything that a family could want on holiday. Very child friendly and loads for them to do. There is entertainment every night for all ages, young and old alike. We would recommend Paramount Places for a fun loving and relaxing holiday that suits your needs, and all amenities are on site.

Hi to Everyone reading this. We stayed for a week at Vilanova Park with Paramount Places. In one word - EXCELLENT! From the moment we were met at the airport we were made to feel welcome. What a relief not to have the usual hassle trying to find the 'package holiday coach!' The high level of service offered continued throughout the holiday. For example, when we needed a hire car it was arranged and delivered to our door! What more could you ask for? Bar-B-Q's and trips to Salou were organized for Paramount Places guests and allowed us to get to know each other. Something, which really made the holiday for us. The mobile homes themselves are really well fitted out; everything you will need has been thought of! Vilanova Park itself has all the facilities you could want and is really well situated for trips to the likes of Barcelona and Salou. I would keenly recommend Paramount Places to families or couples and am looking forward to my next stay there.
